It could depend on what the meaning of "accurate" is.
Televison stations, both over-the-air and via cable, cover
large swaths of territory.  A Boston TV station meteorologist
could say "cold with a chance of sleet or snow" and Worcester
could be buried and Methuen would get all snow, but only an
inch or two...while Attleboro gets all rain.
