I did a fast spin of the AM dial last night (while at
my Dad's house on the Cape) and sure enough, the major
NY talk/news stations were doing
continuing coverage-- and the Yankees game was
airing on WFAN 660, as Yanks flagship WCBS 880 was
more concerned with blackout coverage. The Mets game
at Shea (WFAN is the Mets flagship) was scrubbed,
so it was nice that they could pick up the AL game
while WCBS could concentrate on news.
