I just received an article from About.Com - by a musician who feels the future of radio may just be satellite.  Some factoids he proffers:

"All the major auto manufacturers are beginning to put it in new vehicles, including Honda, Toyota, DaimlerChrysler, GM, Ford, and BMW."

"GM announced that it will offer XM Radio in 44 of its 57 models in 2004 - over 3/4 of its fleet." 

There's also a mention of Clear Channels' "heavy" investment in XM.  Plus a less-than-complimentary comment about the author's disdain for CC.
