Re: Owner: WOXO is community radio
We have a nice LPFM here in Flagler County, Florida (half-way between St.
Augustine and Daytona Beach) in Flagler Beach (Palm Coast). It is owned by
Halifax Christain Community Church and plays extreme oldies with thousands
of titles on the playlist that takes about 12 days to go through them all.
The play tons of request and most all the airshifts are manned live save for
overnights. The play everything from the dawn of rock and roll through 1979.
I listen to it often.
For those curious I know they feed through "live365.com" under thier
monniker The Blizzard. It's 97 watts on 93.3 FM and does pretty good on
coverage, except when the trops breeze in. I think the website is
www.theblizzard.us
Traditional oldies stations in this market are: WKQL 96.9 Jacksonville, FL
(100kw/Cox) and WSHE 100.3 Orlando, FL (100kw, Clear Channel), both
nicknamed Cool FM, by coincidence.
