Another alternative is CyberCorder 2000 from Skyhawk Technologies
http://skyhawktech.com/.  Putting the signal from an AM tuner or radio into
the line input and using Cybercorder, you can set on-off times to record
with unique named files, in any audio format.  You can program one time, a
day in advance, or every day.  You can also launch an internet link to start
an audio program prior to recording (recording off the "stereo mix" of your
PC's volume control.  Shareware, it's 24.95 and I use it so much for
off-hour recording of radio and shortwave programs.
