A quick technical note with regards to using a VCR for audio-only
recording....
Many VCR's will have trouble providing a quality high-fidelity recording
unless there is some sync'd video signal provided. Even if it's just
composite in from your digital cable box, DVD player, etc.
An alternative is to record the program with your PC - using Cool Edit Pro
or some other tool that can run on a schedule... or have someone else on the
list tape it for you!
Theoretically, I could record it, as I'll be with friends in Somerville on
Sunday 7/6. I'll see what I can do...

on your VCR...
