Bob may not want to do that for yet another reason. WXKS-AM is the closest
thing to WJIB that he has for music format competition in the Boston metro
area (unless perhaps you include WPLM-FM in Plymouth), and even WJIB's low-
power night signal is quite listenable in the immediate western suburbs
where WXKS is noisy to inaudible (Watertown, Belmont, Newton, etc...)
Though there are distinct differences in the formats, there is some overlap
in the stations playlists, although WXKS's is satellite delivered outside
of morning drive.
