No, the paperwork to transfer WCRQ clearly refers to CHSJ. CFBC's signal,
while good down
the coast, doesn't put enough coverage over Calais to count as part of the
"local" market.
Come to think of it, I've never even seen the FCC acknowledge cross-border
stations as
part of the local "market." If they can count a Canadian station to
increase the size of the
Calais market, then shouldn't the Mexican-licensed stations that Clear
Channel LMAs in
Tijuana (five of them, at last count) count against the number of stations
the company can
own in San Diego (seven of them licensed on the US side...)?

alumnus of WTBS/WMBR...

Once I get finished with the Carolinas stuff that's up on Tower Site right
now, I'll have to put up some Calais
and New Brunswick pictures...
