WNEW's new moniker (as of Thursday evening at 7:30) is Blink/102.7, an eclectic music mix heavy with MTV/VH1-type features, and with a 12N-3PM daily program from Hollywood, all aimed at women 18-30.  As if to drive home the target demo, their new logo is done in pink.  Steve Kingston, PD at K-Rock, is also programming Blink.

However, the station that already attracted far too much attention from the FCC did it again with the format's debut song, something from Prince (can't remember the song title) full of the four-letter slang term for sexual intercourse.  Nice going, dopes.  With one of their Detroit stations just fined for indecency, with one of the Howard Stern-hating gadflys filing yet another indecency complaint against the same station, with the O&A sex-in-the-cathedral complaint still unresolved, Infinity was asleep at the switch on this one.
