There is, indeed, dignity in risk.  Bloom's loss triggers the unexpected.  I
think of the chances taken in the past, and when faced with those opportunities
now, I run it through the "Dad/Husband" filter and... well, the goals soften, a
bit.  At least the speed is kept down a bit.
