The Duke
It is with a great sadness that I inform everyone of the death this morning
of Bob Anderson, affectionately known as the Duke of Portland. Bob was 59
years old.
For the past few years Bob has been the morning host on WYNZ for the past
few years. He has been a fixture in Portland radio for more than 40 years.
I've worked with Bob these past few years, providing his news on Oldies
100.9, while he did my sports on WGAN in the mornings.
He was warm, friendly, a total professional, and a delight to work with.
I will miss my friend dearly.
