Some radio talk hosts, like Howie Carr, Michael
Savage, and VB have said that Brown is arrogant
(among his nicknames is "Arrogant Brown") and they say
they don't enjoy watching him. VB said he was watching
the TV monitor in the studio and saw Brown
interviewing Michael Moore, and he expressed his
distaste for both.
Speaking of Moore, Howie Carr producer Nancy
Shack ("Sandy") told a story on yesterday's show:
When she was producing Jerry Williams 'RKO show
and the studios were next to a big hotel, they were
supposed to have Moore on as a guest, plugging a new
book. Moore was staying at the hotel next door.
Moore called about a half hour before the interview
was to begin and said he'd rather do the interview
on the phone. Now, Sandy didn't say whether Moore
had said he was tired or whatever, but she implied
that Moore was too lazy to go to the hotel
elevator, take it to the ground floor, and then
enter the building WRKO was in--right next door.
According to Nancy, she told Jerry this and the Dean
said "forget him" and they cancelled the interview.
