WRKO's VB, Noory back; Colmes gone

As of tonight, VB's WRKO show is back, in its old time
slot (10 pm to 1 am) followed by George Noory's "Coast
to Coast". On March 1, 'RKO put VB's show on hiatus
and began carrying "Fox News Live with Alan Colmes".
It was said at the time that "once the bombs start
falling" VB's show would be back, but from
1 to 4 am.

When the war did start last week, Noory's show was
temporarily shelved in favor of expanded coverage from
ABC Radio. Now, VB has returned and so has
Noory-- but VB is back in his old time slot; and VB
said (on air) that he is back permanently (i.e., it's
not just for the duration of the war). Colmes fans are
out of luck, though admittedly many of VB's callers
said that they didn't like Alan and were glad VB was
back. VB did war talk all show.

VB explained that WRKO had made an agreement with Fox
to carry Colmes "up through the start of the war". (VB
probably could have started earlier but was doing
morning show fill ins last week.)

(I know Fox News is apparently aligned with WRKO, but
if I were them I'd think about trying to align with
WTKK--they could pick up the Colmes show,
in place of Tom Martino the Trouble Shooter.)
