RE: A real EAS system



As a youngsta' living on the South Shore, I knew that the signal was for
Civil Defense, but I thought the frequencies were 630 and 1260, figuring
WPRO was the CD outlet for RI and WEZE was the CD outlet for E Mass. (I also
thought the 2-1 ratio of 630 and 1260 was logical, but for what reason I
wouldn't have been able to guess...)
