After
a few days, alternative programming will be needed. All war, all the time
is not the only thing the American people need to hear.<
My recollection of the first Gulf War, as well as weather related
emergencies, etc., is that
before long I was waterlogged and definitely needed a respite.
Will we have a throwback similar to the post-Pearl Harbor coverage? I can
hear it now....
(going to my Freddy Freelance School of Broadcasting, big-time radio
announcer's voice)
"We interrupt our coverage of the Gulf conflict for this breaking regular
program."
