Well that we should be reminded.  And 'BUR says its double-yous so, well,
to boot.  I miss WBUR since relocating.  IIRC, it was streamed for a time.
As good as VPR is, Mark Vogelzang runs a tight ship, it's nice to have a
competitor in the public radio sector.  WAMC (WANC Ticonderoga) puts
Shoreham in its .5 mV/m contour and does a decent job of providing
alternative programming.  They have a great program about news sources
weekly that blends guests of print and radio.  Very-Albany in its
coverage, versus acknowledging Vermont politics.  (It's got a lot to do in
the NY north country.)  In addition, nothing like Faneuf's reportage to
boost the credibility of the signal at WBUR.

I remember when Dave rejoined WCAP as ND a few years back and there was a
clear indication from a number of local pols, notables that they would be
scrutinized in a far more relevant and clear way.
