Huh?  Am I missing something?  I don't follow the logic here.  Wouldn't it 
have made more sense to fax the church heirarchies rather than to fax radio 
stations in hope that someone from the church is listening?  What's this 
got to do with serving the public?  Are you suggesting they should have 
activated EAS for this?  Maybe these 2 churches simply chose not to 
participate.

Most stations I've worked for have the fax machine in the offices, which 
are usually locked after 5pm.   This rant is a bit of a stretch imho.
