There are many songs about radio and it's tough to
pick a "best". "WOLD" is great.
One song that just came to mind for me was by the
Kinks, "Around The Dial":

"Where did you go Mr. DJ?
Why did they take you off the air
Was it something that you said to the corporation guys
upstairs?
Couldn't be the pressure--you never sounded down
Wasn't the ratings--you had the best in town
