Take this Format and Shove It!

Jonny Paycheck died yesterday. That reminds me of the WBOS kiss off of
country listeners in 1989.

IIRC, The last 3 hours of a "Country" format on WBOS went something like
this:

Counrty-Country-Paycheck/Take this Job../Country-Country-Take this Job...etc
for the 3rd to last hour

It was Country-Take this job-Country-Take this Job-Country etc for the 2nd
to last hour

and for 'BOS's last hour as a Country Station (and to make sure that
audience got the message...it's 'CAV or OKQ for you!), it was all "Take this
Job" for the last hour...

BTW: "Here comes the Sun" was the first song of the WBOS format that while
tweaked to hell is at least realated to that 1989 debut.

RIP Jonny Paycheck.
