I find this interesting.  When I lived in Rochester,
my house was located literally within eyesight of
Pinnacle Hill, the primary transmitter site for all of
the major TV stations there (less than a mile away as
the crow flies).  I only recall being in one residence
where there was I noticed a significant problem with
signal feedback /overload from the transmitters (All
VHF stations there are carried on cable in their
normal over the air locations).  And believe it or
not, that place was my friend's apartment much farther
away from the towers than my place was (almost on the
other side of town form me).  I never really noticed
any feedback problems on 8, 10, or 13 in my house, or
any other that I visited along Park Avenue though.
