Re: This is awful

Coming home from the train at about 9:10, I'd swear (though I admit I
was only paying half attention) that the BZ-AM newsman--I don't remember
which one--noted that they were going to carry live the "landing of the
space shuttle CHALLENGER".
At the time I heard it, I thought "Challenger"?
Since it was a few minutes after Columbia disappeared, maybe he saw
something on one of the wires (though he didn't sound at all alarmed)
and had a Freudian slip?
Did anyone else happen to catch that?
