Fwd: Re: Boston Arbitrends Up

 I bought a new car last summer, and the dealership,
Ira Dodge in Lowell, had WMJX-M dreck on (I bought
the car anyway; Manzi Dodge had WROR on...they all act that
way as Lorenzo DePonte once said.) Thus I was subjected
on a couple of occasions to ENDLESS stop-sets, which in a
sense were a relief from the mind-numbing recordings.
Now THAT'S commercial broadcasting for you. I'll take
15-second acknowledgements any day.

Some of you may be saying, hey if you got a new car
last summer, why were you late for the WJIB "banquet" at
the 99? I left my lights on because the switch is on
a stick attached to the steering wheel column; I'm used
to light switches on the panel.  It hasn't happened since;
unlike Trent Lott, I learn from my mistakes.

WBUR and WGBH, both allegedly non-commercial, are not included in interim Arbitrends. Their numbers will be availabe in January when Maximi$er numbers are released.
