I think the title of this thread is always true.  ;-)

In 1994, I was managing a Congressional campaign and
usually found myself at my desk on Saturday afternoons
-- it was the only time people would leave me alone so
I could get some work done.  At the time, WGAN was
running Jim Hightower's syndicated ABC weekend show. 
I listened to the show pretty much every weekend for
several months and though I rarely agreed with
anything that Hightower said, I found the show
enjoyable.  Unlike many liberal hosts, Hightower has a
sense of humor and seemed interested in entertaining
not just preaching.  The ABC show didn't last long.  I
agree that he doesn't have a great radio voice.
