WMUR-TV Made Big Bucks This Election Year

From today's (11/17) Nashua Telegraph: WMUR (Channel 9 Manchester NH) sold
a reported $7.3 million in political ads this year, selling 17,300 political
ads between Jan.1st and Nov.5th. The $7.3 million earned WMUR the
distinction of the top selling station in the country for political ads, the
second place station in Savannah GA sold about 50% less in ads than Channel
9. These figures are from the campaign watchdog group The Alliance for
Better Campaigns.WMUR station manager Jeff Bartlett is quoted as saying they
actually had to turn ads away as they didn't have enough time to fit them
all into their schedule.

I couldn't wait for the election season to end, so all those attcak and
counter attack, call congressman so& so and tell him what to do,
etc.etc.....I bet Channel 9 misses those ads too....or at least the $$$$
