If I remember correctly, Lynker was one of the news anchors at WEEI 590 when
it was all news
format. Again if memory serves me correctly he was at WEEI around the mid to
late 70s?

Mind you, until reading the posts to the list, I had completely forgotten
about Linker now
I vaguely remember hearing him on the air.

And yes, if I have my dates correct, that was the period where CBS owned
WEEI 590.

Note that links posted on this thread to the Lynker obit, seems to be simply
AP wire
serivce copy, so they might leave out some of the details. The same AP obit
word-for-word
is on the Richmond-Times Dispach website also.
