Fw: Re: My Take On Political Ads

Well, people receiving cable use it to watch the broadcast stations that are
offered. I suspect that in Berkshire County, these are Albany outlets.
I know that during this period (Columbus Day weekend), I watched over-the-air
newscasts in the (vain) hope that one day would be sunny. Since I had access
only to a TV that was not on cable, I don't know what is on Berkshire cable,
but most cable operators give primacy to the TV stations people are used to watching.
(When cable first came to Methuen, there weren't enough strictly cable channels
to fill the dial, soo they imported channel 6 in Portland and 10 in RI. Thus there
were THREE NBC outlets at the same time!
