Interesting Seattle transmitter site
Seattle AM station KKOL is transmitting from a
175-foot cargo ship anchored in the harbor. The
station lost it's transmitter site to waterfront
development and has temporary authority to use the 74
foot fiberglas whip antenna on the ship. Interesting
