Re: WSMN Nashua

WSMN picked up Red Sox baseball during spring training 2001 and spring
training 2002, then dropped it both years until just after the All-Star
break.

ESPN overnights and weekends have been on WSMN for since early last year.
It was right around April 2001, about the same time that it was announced
that Nashua Pride Baseball would not be carried on the station that year.

WSMN also carried some Celtics games over the last two seasons, but it
never was a regular thing.

Also of note is that on several occasions when WSMN has carried
baseball/basketball/ESPN game of the week a very strange thing has
happened. All too many times right in the middle of the broadcast (usually
at 10:00pm) the station reverts to ESPN sports-talk, dumping the
local/national play by play. I'm running out of fingers and toes counting
the number of times it has happened.

WOTW 900 AM Nashua also had ESPN's coverage of the Army football game this
past Saturday, complete with ESPN 1050 New York ID's.
