   I'm a big fan of howie because of the fact that he
keeps it soooo local.  There was one time that I was
listening to howie while driving on Maine's Rt 9 and
there was a call from a woman who was driving the
exact same stretch of road.  Pretty good from a
syndicated show.
   I am slightly surprised that he has a big fan base
in Montreal, tho.  Especially since he was pushing the
idea that Quebecers didn't like Americans.
