Costa/Eagle Flip Flop Trifecta Weekend

This coming weekend the 3 Costa/Eagle stations: WCCM (800 Lawrence) WNNW
(1110 Salem NH) and WHAV (1490 Haverhill) are scheduled to swap frequencies
and move formats along with call letter moves, changes and elimination.
Confused yet? Here's a recap of what will take place:

WCCM will move it's Local News/Talk by day/ ESPN Sports Talk by night and
the WCCM calls to 1490 Haverhill. The WHAV calls, on 1490 since sign on in
1947, will disappear.

WHAV's Spanish Music/Talk format will move to 1110 and the WNNW calls at
1110 will be replaced with WCEC.

The Spanish Tropical music format on 1110 will move to 800 along with the
WNNW calls.

Now time for questions. I don't know if anyone has answers, but here
goes:

What time will all this frequency, calls and format swapping take place on
Sunday?

The Spanish Boston Red Sox game broadcasts are currently on 1490. Will
those games move to 800? Or will WCEC (the new 1110 calls) disregard (to
quote Laurence Glavin) "disregard the planet's journey around the sun" and
stay on after sunset to carry the games?

Will the Lowell Spinners be without a radio home next season, or will they
be heard exclusively in downtown Haverhill? Also, WCCM carries not only high
school football and basketball, but Merrimack College basketball and hockey.
The 1490 night signal is not of much use too far out of Haverhill proper,
they certainly won't hear it at Merrimack's North Andover campus. Will they
drop Merrimack College sports? Or will they just go on as if they can be
heard in a slightly larger area as they were on 800? I'm sure they'll
continue with High School sports however.

One final note: an ad in today's Lowell Sun page 4 for the NEW"SOURCE" of
the Merrimack Valley AM 1490 WCCM Information Radio.(NEW"SOURCE" is just how
it's printed). I wonder how many folks in Lowell will try to tune in to find
them?
