New location for WCAP Afternoons

For those who have not heard.....WCAP's Afternoon Live with Gary Francis &
Ryan Johnston will be moving into a new "Sidewalk Studio" at 262 Merrimack
Street (corner of Dutton Street) in late September or early October.  The
studio will be located inside the new Gary's Ice Cream that is opening in
downtown Lowell.  The studio will be linked to WCAP master control with an
8khz telco loop and all programming will originate from the downtown studio
(the delay unit will be on site). The hosts will be sitting in the window
facing Lowell City Hall and will be able to interact with folks walking by.
Sounds like old time radio, doesn't it.

Hopefully one of our first guests will be the lovely (and talented) Donna
Halper, making a return appearance on our show.

By the way, the 2 1/2 hours of Donna on Afternoon Live back in July will be
rebroadcast on Labor Day, Sept 2.  If you missed it the first time - catch
it this time (esp D.A. Boucher).
