I believe it was reported here that he was fired a few weeks ago,

I lost interest in "Here & Now" when it lost it's focus on "here". 
i.e. when the show lost it's New England focus.  Now they're just 
covering the same stories that all the other shows are covering, 
albeit sometimes from a different angle.  So, why bother?
