Yes and no...at Bertucci's - or any chain restaurant...hell, any restaurant
period - a large group (8 or more) coming in during a Friday or Saturday
night dinner rush will get ignored until 11:30pm. I have had this happen
to me twice (once at Olive Garden in Framingham, then again at Pizzeria
Uno's in Allston).

6:30 might be early enough that - with advance notice - the restaurant may
accommodate us, but the chains are the worst offenders of saying "it'll be
about 15 minutes" for at least 3 hours.

FWIW - not to throw a wrench into the works but WBRS is moving their
studios starting Sept.9th and expected to be done by that Friday (the
13th) I expect in reality it'll be done sometime the following week, but
will be mostly done by the 13th. So if folks think trying to sneak in a
studio tour of a brand-new facility is worth waiting a few weeks, I can
have the tour arranged and I would recommend something like the 99
Restaurant in Waltham (which although it's a chain, is also *right* down
the road from Brandeis University). There's also Bison County BBQ which
is not far from Brandeis either...DAMN fine BBQ food :-) And hell,
there's lots of good restaurants around Moody St.
