And, interestingly, the FCC now requires all measurements submitted to them be
in metric formats. Most scientists and many engineers work with metric
measurements.

I wonder how much productivity (and how many space missions) are lost computing
(or miscomputing) conversions?

So, I guess we are in no position to preach to the rest of the world about
failures to establish standards for TV tuners.
