I guess you have to have a 50,000 watt (almost) non-directional pattern to
be competitive.

But again...They are still not illegal to buy.  The consumer gets to decide
what he wants.

I don't make the judgement.  I let the consumer judge.

Simple, buy one and see if you want the benfits.  Go to Best Buy and take a
look at the benefits.

But again, the consumer triumphed, right?  Because they made everyone buy a
PC?  No.  Because they forced people to continue to buy radios?  No.

It was b ecause they manufactures made the case to the public about the
benefits and the public showed they wanted it....and would pay the freight.
