What a way to go out - for a life-long sports broadcast legend,
right after a time of tribute, reflection and appreciation for one
of his, no doubt, icons. Ned's velvety voice, even disposition,
class, love for Boston, and mastery of the rudiments of the game of
baseball will remain legendary. Martin is, indeed, one of the few
whose legend status preceded his passing by many years.
RIP Ned
