RE: License to Cover for LPFM In Newport, RI (Anyone Listening?)

I actually heard the station briefly on Thursday evening while driving
through Little Compton & Tiverton, RI. I heard some Spanish music and
at first thought I was hearing WCAA-FM from Newark, NJ but then it
dawned on me that it could be the new LPFM in Newport. I was outside
what they have on their website as a coverage map but the station was
coming in quite strong and in stereo on my Sony car radio.

I was perusing the fcc.gov website for this weeks applications and
actions,
and I noted that an LPFM in Newport, RI...WXHQ-LP...apparently is
on-the-air.
It also has a website, including theoretical coverage map, at:
www.radionewport.org
There's a message board that includes a posting by someone whose name
I didn't recognize claiming that "low power FM kills DXing".
Has anyone on the BRIG checked this out yet? It may be among the
first functioning Low Power assignments in New England!
