Actually, it's WKXL, not WXKL. Each hour of O'Reilly's show is
stand-alone, ie nothing carried over from one hour to the next or promoted
as being in the next hour. The 2 hour show is fed alternating hours thru
the afternoon. The noon hour is repeated (by the network) in the 2 pm
hour, the 1p hour repeated in the 3p hour and so on.
Don't know the contract details for market exclusivity. As far as the Sox
go, both WKXL and WGIR have carried the Sox for many years, I'm sure
there's some sort of grandfather clause. Until 107.7 became WKXL-FM a
little over 2 years ago there was very little signal overlap...neither 1450
nor 102.3 have particularly good signals in Manchester and 610 is so-so in
Concord.
