The "New" WCCM; Bill Borelli Gone; Bob Ellis On-time (gasp)

The "NEW" WCCM-AM 800 in Lawrence debuted today (05/06) although the dumb
ESPN News appeared yesteday.  The intros that for years were done by Bill 
Borelli are now voiced by a female with a bit of an edge to her voice.
(Is B.B. gonzo?)
But the most amazing feature of the format change so far:  Bob Ellis has started
every newscast on time!  That alone is an abrupt change, but will it last?
WCCM is still going up to the hour with recorded music a la MOYL, but probably only as filler (similar to the way WCRB uses 18th-century dreck to separate
commercials for assisted-living homes).  Later today, and I won't be 
around to listen, they will have their live-local talk shows, and
I wonder if some of the callers will object to some of the changes.
