I have no idea whether the _site_ is the same, but WQSX strobed _tower_ is
only about five years old. For sure, WUPY wasn't on such a tall tower and I
wonder whether there even were strobed towers back in the 60s. As for
whether Sheldon had partners, could be. I wonder if Sheldon bothered with
niceties like informing the FCC, however. For a 1/3 ownership interest in a
US radio station to be legal, I'm pretty sure that the 1/3 owner's name must
appear on the station's license.
