WCSH-TV tower work

Work to bring the WCSH-TV tower near Sebago Lake into the digital age is
supposed to begin next week.  I learned this in an e-mail yesterday from
Maine Public Radio, whose WMEA is also on the tower.  The same details
in that message appear on the home page at
<http://www.mainepublicradio.org/>.

If you think commercial radio has a lock on stupid slogans, how about
MPR being "the station you listen to"?  Some announcers stress YOU and
some LISTEN.  Either way, yuck.  Perhaps in the next couple weeks, with
MPR serving Portland (but probably not us folks in the Granite State)
from a low-power Westbrook transmitter, they can call it "the station
you can't listen to."
