Joy Browne is a clinical psychologist, not a psychiatrist; so
that would make her a Ph.D.  Just to make things more confusing,
some psychologists hold a Psy.D. degree, and some therapists
hold a D.S.W. (Doctor of Social Work) degree.

Laura Schlessinger's Ph.D. is in physiology, not psychology, so
she can probably give reliable advice on exercise and nutrition.
I happen to like her moral positions too, but she got most of
those from Sources other than academic ones.
