This is likely due to the US Copyright Office's recent decision that makes
it all but impossible for radio and internet-only stations to
webcast. See details at www.kurthanson.com/index.asp &
www.ruf.rice.edu/~willr/cb/sos

Well, the decision was probably the kicker on what was probably a
money-losing venture. Virtually no radio station, save the really small
and some public radio outlets, are showing any real benefit from their
webcasts. And "benefit" does not necessary directly mean "money"
either. Webcasting a tough sell, really, and there's only a few targeted
areas where it really works well financially.
