I think that's true Nationwide, however. I know of very few talk show hosts
anywhere who succeed as political candidates.

Is Braude still a member of the Cambridge City Council?

The Brudnoy Deputy Sheriff thing (as far as I know he still is a Middlesex
Deputy Sheriff), if I understand correctly, is largely a ceremonial thing.
Kind of like all these honorary degrees bestowed by Colleges and
Universities at their commencements.
