WGBH's Mai Cramer has passed away

Was saddened to read that WGBH-FM's Mai Cramer has
died at the age of 54, of breast cancer. She had
hosted their Friday and Saturday night show "Blues
After Hours" for 24 years, made appearances at
festivals, was active in blues societies, and did her
best to "keep the blues alive".

I met Mai a couple of times at a Salem blues festival
and heard her show many times; she was friendly,
knowledgeable, and dedicated to the blues. As a fellow
blues DJ and blues fan, I mourn the loss of Mai Cramer.
