And in 1994, when I volunteered to drive voters to the polls on election 
day for the Brookline Democratic Town Committee, we got a call from 
someone in that grey area wanting a ride to the polls.  After we tried to 
get a campaign headquarters in Boston to take the referral, I agreed to 
drive the person to vote at the Hamilton School, on Chestnut Hill Avenue 
in Brighton.
