Re: WKTQ (was tv on radio)
It is now obvious that it is NOT unusual for a radio station to be licensed
to an informal
geographic designation and not to an official municipality. That raises
another question: if there is no geographic delimitation of the area where
the station is licensed to, how does the FCC enforce regulations regarding
the city of license? I know there used to be rules about signal strength to
your city of license and location of public files. Are there still such
geographic rules and how do they work with informal geography?
