Re: tv on radio



I have heard 60 Minutes on WCBS 880, and it works well. Certainly, if a
television news broadcast is also going to be provided via an audio-only
media, it should be designed with that audience in the back of the
production crew's mind. Certainly, there are many who "watch" the evening
news _shows_ while doing something else that is the primary occupant of
their vision....

As a sidebar, it's astonishing (to me) the number of advertiser who relies
on the audience to view that advertisement - providing few or no audio 
clues at all. Then again, there are those to which I can listen *and* 
watch, and I still don't understand what's being advertised...
