WNTY

WNTY 990 Southington, CT, is back to relaying Fox News Channel, but with
a strange bonus feature: Every few minutes, sometimes more frequently,
you can hear the unmistakable Internet Explorer sound that accompanies
warning pop-ups or the notes that signal incoming mail in Outlook
Express. All I can think is that the station is getting the FNC feed
directly off the Internet with a standard PC, the same PC that handles
e-mail for the station.

Can they do this? Does Fox know they're doing this? ADD Media hasn't had
a clue what to do with this decent suburban AM signal since they bought
the station, but this is real amateur-hour stuff.
