A number of years ago (at least 3 or 4 but I don't recall exactly) AFTRA
lead an effort to outlaw non-compete clauses for broadcasters in
Massachusetts.  The only way EA would still have an enforceable
non-compete in place is if his contract that included a non-compete was
signed prior to passage and implementation of the new law.
